Part 5: Logging in to Your BlueHost Control Panel

Now that you have completed your BlueHost registration, you have secured the domain name that you selected. Again, BlueHost takes care of yearly registration of your domain name.

You should have received an e-mail from BlueHost with your registration information. This should include your registration details such as domain name selected, password, and link to log in to your BlueHost control panel.

You can log into BlueHost in one of two ways. First, you can simply go to www.bluehost.com and enter your domain and password in the control panel login located at the top right of the home page. Note that your domain name can be entered with the "www" prefix or not. However, it must contain the suffix such as".com".









The other way to log in to your BlueHost control panel, is from your website. To access your website, just type in the domain name that you registered. Then after the suffix, add a forward slash (/) followed by the word "cpanel". For example, www.yourwebsite.com/cpanel. This will bring up your control panel login for BlueHost without going to their main home page.

BlueHost Control PanelEither way, you should be able to access the BlueHost control panel. When you login you'll see an assortment of icons for various tools and services related to your website. See screenshot to the left.
